@Johnkehoe23 The existing program is better than you make it sound. The 2015 changes incuded a provision that startup options are taxed on capital account (not income). So an empoyee is not taxed until they realise a gain and then taxed at 1/2 the marginal rate...the review is good though.

Our recent SME survey shows Small Business owner's remaining upbeat about their businesses and the general economy, despite election uncertainty. Also good to see almost half expect to take advantage of Instant Asset Write Off.

Continues to be tough for Small Business to get access to capital. on-bank lenders (like GetCapital) are helping but its small fry relative to the problem. Much more needs to be done. Shared responsibility between government, Banks and fintechs.
