I’m going to miss him so much. In 2022, when the war started, I thought I could forget about ever seeing talented Brazilians at Shakhtar. Kevin made me believe in the club once again. Once a week for 90 minutes I could forget about daily life and watch this guy do it all- rainbow flicks, crazy tricks, sliding tackles in our box. He is by far the most exciting player we’ve had since Douglas Costa, and I’m proud to have witnessed him turn from a raw prospect to a PL level player .
I’ve only cried when a player left once before- when my then favourite player Julius Aghahowa left to Wigan in 2007. Regrettably, today was the second time it’s happened. I hope he becomes the best player in Fulham’s history and gets his statue next to Jonny Haynes’. Thank you for everything my brother! ❤️🇧🇷
We are utterly appalled at the racist and homophobic abuse received and subsequently shared by Calvin Bassey on social media after yesterday’s FA Cup tie against Manchester United.
