I've started a new writing project: rewriting Biblical story with other setting to highlight the problems with them. I've named the collect The Bad Book. Would love recommendations of what stories to include.

@BevJacksonAuth@TurningPointOU Baloney. This is a religion colliding with empirical evidence. The article wasn't even about being trans. It was about gender stereotypes and bullying. She didn't fulfill the assignment and deserved the grade she got.
@dumbassgenius@TurningPointOU I'm a retired professor, and no way does she get a chance to redo the assignment. A student that writes this poorly doesn't have the capacity to do the assignment at a passing level. If you allow her to rewrite her crap, you have to let every other student as well.
@TotallyAllen@TurningPointOU Wrong. Even at a bible college, this is a failing essay. She wasn't failed for her opinion, but for not following the assignment.
@itrade258@TurningPointOU Sorry, but this is the rubric she was given. She did none of those things. She didn't remotely follow the directions. Also, the essay isn't underwhelming. It is written at a middle school level at best. It isn't college work.
@brightestpet@TurningPointOU Honey, the article the student was supposed to react to wasn't about being transgender. It was about gender stereotypes and bullying. Her response doesn't follow the assignment and is written at a middle school level. It deserved a failing grade.
@SeanTrapani@TurningPointOU You aren't a college professor. She didn't reference a thing from the article she was supposed to be reacting to, nor follow any of the directions. It is also poorly written. It would have gotten a failing grade from any actual college professor.
@greg_scott@TurningPointOU What she looks like has nothing to do with the fact that the student didn't follow the assignment. There isn't a college professor on earth that wouldn't fail that "essay."
@sandyt0es@CrabbyAshley@TurningPointOU Yeah, it was a reaction paper, and she doesn't reference a single thing from the article she was supposed to be reacting to. That makes it a zero in any college level class.
@Bullets888@TurningPointOU The student didn't remotely follow the directions. The essay doesn't address the article as required, has no organizational structure, is poorly written, and includes no empirical evidence. It would get a zero in any college class.
@TurningPointOU But the problem is that she wasn't failed for sharing conservative or Christian beliefs, but for failing to follow the instructions. Her "essay" doesn't do any of the things required in the assignment. It is also repetitive and has no organizational structure. She deserved a 0
