I got some much-needed work done to my deck today. Here’s before and after photos. Now I realize I may need some new deck furniture. And…I definitely need to paint that interior door and side panel.
One of the little pleasures in my life as a priest is to go the church on Saturday evening, mark the Gospel and lectionary readings, bless the holy water in the baptismal font, lay out my vestments and then light a bit of incense and pray Evening Prayer in the half-lit church.
A great big thank you to the always-wonderful Beth DuFault for finding her priest this beautiful 1959 Lane cabinet, which looks amazing in my dining room! Look at that dovetailing! You deserve a finders fee for this one, Beth (now keep your eyes open for a Lane coffee table)
I’ll be celebrating the 20th anniversary of my ordination to the Priesthood tomorrow, Sunday, June 9 at St. Stephen’s in Fargo. If you’re in the area, come to the Mass of Thanksgiving at 11:00 am and/or the Open House following Mass from noon to 2:00 pm.
