@StillMeRox @DrHooverC Thank you for this. When I had my miscarriage (1st pregnancy) many people said: at least you know you can get pregnant. Well meaning but it gutted me every time.

[Jamie Slight @JamieSlight]

@ShelleyACook I stir it into yogurt. Works for 2/3. The other one involves restraints 🙃

I have been seen!

@mshopeteach @Dynacare Redonda is the only place that will PCR test <5 if that’s what you mean by daycare site. I drove to Nairn Monday am sick as a dog but had results in about 3 hours.

[Jamie Slight @JamieSlight]

In case anyone is wondering what a progression of testing might look like for a family of 5: mom +, next day dad & eldest, 3 days later the 2 youngest. 3 yo has spent more of 2022 in isolation than not.

Amazing thread

[Gwen C. Katz @gwenckatz]

There's a phenomenon I actually see extremely commonly when literature is used to teach history to middle school and high school students. Let's call it "pajamafication."

[Jamie Slight @JamieSlight]

@ywgduder @julespenner @acgerstein @CovidSchool So random! I did sense some reluctance and he also mentioned that maybe by next week they wouldn’t be able to accommodate <8 wks. (?) But as a CSW who has to send my kids to school Monday, I want them as protected as soon as possible. Not waiting til end of Jan.

[Jamie Slight @JamieSlight]

@mshopeteach I have many translated resources for middle years FI - mainly grade 7 & 8 math, science & sci hum. Some ela (mostly from Pernille Ripp) and some français. It may or may not be useful but I’m happy to share.

[Jamie Slight @JamieSlight]

@PembinaTrails Will there be busing for CSW kids (who already take the bus)?

[Jamie Slight @JamieSlight]

@elishadacey At the very start, did Cliff say something about 2nd doses for 5+? Also did they talk about busing for essential kids?

[Jamie Slight @JamieSlight]

@mshopeteach Well I suppose if you have to stay in, that’s a very pretty and festive house to do it in

[Jamie Slight @JamieSlight]

Who wants one of the first couple of copies of #ggbooks winning On the Trapline en francais??

Like, retweet, follow - I’ll choose two winners!

[Jamie Slight @JamieSlight]

I can’t imagine how many hate mentions @jossreimer had to sift through to like my kids’ vaccine post. It makes me appreciate it that much more. Thanks!

[Jamie Slight @JamieSlight]

@RolstoneBarbara @RBCConvCtreWpg @jossreimer Thanks for calling me a predator for buying my kids ice cream, though. That’s quite the take.

[Jamie Slight @JamieSlight]

So excited to have first dose on the books. The Supersite at @RBCConvCtreWpg is welcoming and accommodating. Both kids were great, but it was so nice to know there were options if things went poorly. Thank you science and @jossreimer 😁 #VaccinesAndIceCreams
