@zchagla Returned from Mex last weekend, here in YWG provider is Dynacare. I was randomly tested (along with 60% of flight) Results in 14 hrs. Quick, but waste of $. Concerning: People doing registration had autofill data visible so I could see everybody's names, bdays, passport numbers.
@JamieSlight@julespenner @acgerstein @CovidSchool Coincidentally, I spoke to FreshCo Niakwa earlier today and they told me it was not allowed without a doctors note or prescription. Even after I explained my wife is a HCW and we have several immunocompromised people. So frustrating.
@ashainwpg@mshopeteach Sorry to revive an old thread. Multiple pharmacies are telling me that guidance from the province has now switched to "need a prescription or letter from Dr. if prior to 8 weeks". Anyone have an idea if this actually true?
@Todd_Friesen Thanks for all your great work! Pardon my ignorance, but does Rt factor in the lower time to infectiousness? It seems Omicron may(?) have a comparable R0 to others but is spreading much faster due to this. I saw somewhere Measles has R0 of 10+ but takes 15 days to develop.
@Iam_Canadian@coldcanuck Call your local Shoppers/Sobeys, coworker opted for this route for a rapid antigen. You can buy tests online (at least you used to be able to), but that won't help you today.
@natashakaminsky@mshopeteach That's too bad. Maybe @ 28 days you will have a better outcome. Wonder if information is not being consistently distributed to pharmacies, etc. Walmart/Sobeys booking process indicated 28 was OK with IC.
@T87011513@mshopeteach I agree. The initial person who verified seemed very knowledgeable and understood our desire, due to family circumstances, to get the 2nd shot earlier so I hope that is accurate.
