I find the idea that women cannot be children’s pastors a little creepy. Women can be abusive too but do they want to perpetuate abuse? To me that’s what this is really about - silencing women. “let’s double down on what scripture says about being a pastor.” Good luck with that.

@PrestonSprinkle I think that as a woman with a call to ministry, it’s been too hard to figure out what that call is/was because of limitations by the comp camp. And that will never not affect the way I view the whole enchilada. It’s 2024 and Jesus uplifted women, so let’s at least do that.

@griffingulledge Is the question about a secret rapture or a rapture or one and the same? And what do you believe? One of my children asked me about the rapture and I explained that I didn’t see it the way it is mainly taught. He was surprised but not passionate. He’s 16.

I saw “Barbie” this week with my wife. Here are 3 simple thoughts:

1️⃣ The film is a satire. (A very unique one I might add.) The point of a satire is to tell a story in a way that shocks you so your eyes are opened to reality.
