Longton Jamil: The first thing before you enter that room, you are stripped naked, the underpants and vest are snatched. We stayed for 32 days without our clothing. The next thing, you are handcuffed on the floor. On the first day, we were beaten properly for like 30 minutes each. My wife was 8 months pregnant when I was abducted, she delivered a few days after I was released. Her pressure was very high, we knew we were either going to lose her or the baby. Wako sawa, we got a baby girl called Jamila. The abduction has changed our lives for the worse. My business has gone down #JKLive @KoinangeJeff

The three human rights defenders have been released on a cash bail of Kshs. 5,000 from Mombasa Central Police Station. They face fictitious charges of incitement to violence and are set to be arraigned tomorrow morning in Mombasa Law Courts. The Defenders Coalition posted the cash bail on their behalf.
All three are free from any form of detention-related torture.
Thank you comrades and advocates for the solidarity today!
The Police Reforms Working Group is deeply shocked by the Government of Kenya’s admission of involvement in the refoulement and forced return of four Turkish nationals from Kenya to Turkey. This act, facilitated by Kenyan law enforcement and foreign affairs agencies, raises serious concerns over the violation of human rights and the disregard for due process. We call for accountability and adherence to international human rights standards in such sensitive matters. Read full statement here: https://t.co/hnSg4jzNNR

#AmKenyan 9. I am blessed to have been raised on a small farm and my passion for growing my own food and keeping animals comes from my parents. I will continue advocating for safe food for everyone because WEUH! We are eating poison out here!

#AmKenyan 8. Anyway! We are entering into Christmas mode, we can't do much about what's going to be on our plates but if you can, support small organic farmers who have kept their food clean from chemicals that harm us! Not just veges, meat too! #ToxicBusiness
#AmKenyan 7. The fake manure left me wondering what this poliTRICKSian mixed and presented as manure. From its description, I suspect the supplier mixed black cotton soil with goat poop. They describe the weight as abnormally heavy. Goat manure isn't that heavy #ToxicBusiness
#AmKenyan 6. Hearing them discuss fake manure is what shocked me. If you have lived on a farm, the idea of manure that does not decompose would confuse you. They were given gunias of very black 'goat manure' that's still on their farms years later. #ToxicBusiness
