Weird.
The city says the tanks are getting full, but my water pressure is even weaker today than it was yesterday.
Am I missing something? This just doesn’t seem to make sense.
Was @CityRichmondVA boil advisory issued by the utility department, or VDH? Because, I thought VDH was the only agency that could issue boil advisories.
“Dominion Energy, meanwhile, issued a release stating the company had restored power to the water treatment plant by 9:39 a.m., but referred any questions to City Hall.”
The timeline ain’t mathing.
Aside from this, what a slap in the face to local restaurants, our hospitality industry and service workers.
How are they expected to make $$ if these businesses DON’T HAVE WATER?!?!
Also, let’s keep piling it on.
Is @CityRichmondVA prepared to deal with the number of pipe burst that may occur as temperatures dip into the teens?
What about a rebate on our water bills for this cataclysmic failure?
Also, why did it take so long to notify residents and businesses about the boil advisory? It seems to me, the city had ample time to pivot and notify customers.
County Manager John Vithoulkas is noting the recent passing of Elvin R. Cosby Jr., Henrico’s longest-serving employee. He was 96. https://t.co/X0esIB7uIn
@BreRVA Yes, it was. Also, don’t forget she’s the reason why South Richmond High School of the Arts will open over crowded because she ( and several others) refused to make the school larger.
I have some thoughts:
1) How does a chaos agent, former RPS board member become a voice on affordable housing when she railed against measures to ensure safe/stable housing for our students;
2) Sounds like she’s preparing to run for something else; and
3) Dist. 3 is doomed.
@BreRVA Mainly the request from the superintendent to install a an administrator overseeing mental and economic crises of RPS students, including unstable, housing and homelessness.
@BreRVA@andreasrva@KamalaHarris@timkaine@RepMcClellan Not long at all. The volunteers at Hickory Hill did an amazing job getting us in and out. However, parking was an issue because of the volume of voters coming in.
This is why I am supporting @andreasrva for mayor of Richmond.
For people living on the southside, we do not have time to wait on Tax relief.
We need it now.
Richmond does not have time for on the job training, and Andreas will deliver!
Did you know one empty city block pays the same taxes as block with 24 family homes combined? It's time for a change.
As your next mayor, I have a plan to shift the tax burden from hardworking homeowners to untapped city potential.
