@bocumjb@jk_rowling It's basically internalized misogyny. Women may push it more (IDK the stats on that) but it generally comes from a place of being taught to prioritize male ppl & the things being debated that shouldn't be are things that benefit male ppl not female ppl so it's very male centric.
@IAmNor6@jk_rowling Most debate over trans rights is centered around prioritizing male ppl in women's spaces & allowing male ppl in women's spaces. That's how it's male centric. Demanding women prioritizing male ppl over women when fighting for women's rights is extremely male centric & misogynistic
@balmer_tim@jk_rowling Transmen can & should use the men's room. IDK why ppl think it's equal when it's not. Female ppl overall aren't a threat to male ppl but male ppl are to female ppl.
@swombat@jk_rowling Masculine culture and being a male aren't the same thing. One changes all the time and the other is an immutable biological designation.
@chalimangp@PennyRed@jk_rowling So you talked to some morons? I once talked to a moron who called himself "gifted". That or you're misrepresenting their words & they were actually saying that being a woman doesn't mean a woman can only do XYZ & not do ABC. That's not the same as saying a male person is a woman.
@PennyRed@jk_rowling Biology isn't destiny (w/e that means) but it is a fact and the fact is that woman is an adult human female. Woman isn't defined as an adult human male who arbitrarily self declares himself to be a woman b/c of some undefinable "feeling".
@SteveRichard642@Claire33Claire@_ConnieShaw Why? Trans women don't cease to be a male person & thus just as much of a threat as any other male person just b/c they had some surgery.
@Claire33Claire@_ConnieShaw It doesn't matter if they're pervs or not. I don't want men in women's spaces even if the man is the least pervy guy in the world. It's not just about protecting against predators, that's also important tho, it's about being able to have spaces away from men when we're vulnerable
@EstateBets1135@charliekirk11 Prioritizing things like extracurriculars and sports over pure academics is just another form of DEI. It's an academic institution not a community flag football team that needs a captain.
@declareonAD@WomenBeingAwful It's almost like women are pressured to do that & that there's also a long history of women being encouraged into certain roles & discouraged from pursuing others that impact career choices even today. It's also like you don't know the difference between biology & socialization.
