@FXMC1957 They lived just down the road from us in Winchmore Hill. He and my brother were best friends during Primary and through senior at Highgate. His death at such a young age was very sad.

@SimonCalder BA0646 from LHR today landed Corfu 25 minutes early with our bags on the plane. EES at terminals suspended. 20 minutes from getting off plane to taxi. Happy days!

@MadsDavies Shaw’s Corner open to the public Thursday through Sunday. Full of George Bernard Shaw’s things, curated by him before he handed it to the National Trust in 1950. He’s one of only two people to have won an Oscar and a Nobel Prize for Literature, the other is still living.

@SamCoatesSky I just don’t understand why local government isn’t apolitical. Would rather vote for good local people to represent us who understand how our communities work. Too much toeing the party line is destructive.

@MoneySavingExp Not for me. Enjoyed the 20% off offers, encouraged me to browse and would often buy. Suspect they’ll lose many impulse purchasers. Also looks way too complicated! John Lewis offering 20% off many things this weekend. Have just bought something I wouldn’t have paid full price for!
