Goodall's passing is not a loss to be mourned in despair, but a moksha, a liberation, to be honoured in reverence.
The individual consciousness that was Jane Goodall, having fulfilled its dharma, has now merged back into the 'great Spiritual Power' she always felt in the forest.

Renowned British primatologist #JaneGoodall has died at 91.
Last year, @snehalferns wrote about Goodall's visit to Mumbai, where she told children why she felt lucky to grow up in WW-II, & how to contribute to an already messy world

‘Be the voice for the voiceless’
As the world mourns the passing of Dr Jane Goodall, the renowned British primatologist, anthropologist and conservationist, at the age of 91, I can’t help but reflect on my good fortune to have met and interacted with her, even if for a few minutes, last year at Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP).

Honored to have heard #JaneGoodall at #MumbaiLitFest, 2024
After 65 yrs of tireless work, she leaves us at 91. A legend,an icon,an inspiration.
Why did she always carry a stuffed chimp?

I recorded this 7 yrs ago when @JaneGoodallInst spoke at a @NatGeo event in HK. Her words are prophetic & moving. She spoke about hope & the world we are leaving behind for the next generation. Truly a selfless crusader. RIP #JaneGoodall you will be missed
My #JaneGoodall moment -she had come to a centre I helped run for injured monkeys - one of them was stressed and pulled her hair out - she didn’t flinch and later handed strands of her grey hair to us ! “keep this as a memory of my visit here” she said to me.. 💕

Shattered by the passing of Jane Goodall. She showed how one person’s love for the forest can change the world. She inspired 1 Trillion Trees & reminded us never to lose hope. I love you, Jane, & will miss you deeply. May the one who brings peace bring peace to all. ❤️
Dr. Jane Goodall was able to convey the lessons of her research to everyone, especially young people. She changed the way we see Great Apes.
Her chimpanzee greetings at @UNESCO last year — she who so strongly supported our work for the biosphere — will echo for years to come.
