The Treasury, which is behind most of Britain's economic failure for the past 30 years, now wants the power to take money direct from your bank account.
Dystopian
Nothing makes sense in this country anymore. An invader can get a job in the NHS & then start pushing Palestinian propaganda using our own poppy.
But I, an English man born in this country who worked for the NHS for 16 years, can’t show support & want justice for grooming gang victims.
The NHS deems that as "far-right"
Labour don't make savings.
Labour gotta tax . . . our money
Labour gotta give away . . . our money
So Labour get us into even more debt.
Get Labour out!
Britain just crossed £3 TRILLION in national debt.
Yet ahead of the Budget, Andy Burnham's answer is to hand English mayors another £1.5 BILLION borrowing facility.
We are already spending £100bn+ a year just on debt interest, money that should be funding schools, hospitals, or tax cuts for squeezed families.
Yes, sensible investment matters, and £1.5bn isn't the whole debt pile. But borrowing isn't free money, it's a habit Whitehall refuses to break.
How about trying something radical?
Cut waste, get value for what we already spend, and live within our means.
Meanwhile in France. 🇫🇷
Lefty hit the deck like a striker in the 90th minute, No contact, maximum drama, and already appealing for a penalty in Paris. 😂
Maximum Lefty-Looney Energy. 🤢
@ByrneBarry@DailyMail "'I don't want to stay in France, and nor does any Afghan I know,' he told me at the French resettlement centre. 'We all want Britain. That is our right.'
Right. Hmm
@geekgoddess2024 I most certainly won't be voting Tory. Ever.
Started under Blair, Despite promising several times to reduce immigration, what did the Tories do, increase it greatly & worse, give us the Boris wave

@chanwalrus@BBCNews Interesting. I also detest the BBC and everything it stands for. I have not had the pleasure of direct contact with them though. In fact these days I have no contact. I don't watch it. I don't listen to it and I don't pay for what I don't watch or listen either. How I like it.
Spaniards shopping at the Corte Inglés shopping mall at Barcelona's have been locked in the store.
The shopping mall was forced to close its doors with customers inside to prevent looters from storming the building.
Europe 2026…
After the 4chan tantrum, worth being clear here that no power Ofcom has asked Parliament to grant it would have resulted in a different outcome than the one they got.
@chanwalrus@BBCNews Listened two Jezza on Talk speaking with someone on Capital Radio. He has 3 or 4 in his booth, keeping the show running smoothly. In the BBC it is 27 people for R1. I think that says it all.
