I used to sell lettuce for £1.50 when I first started commercial growing in https://t.co/D2PNsNhnGk my reckoning if lettuce had kept pace with inflation it would be around €3.80 /€4.00 a head now. That's to say food is too cheap now and why a lot of growers left the business
