Mr. Gorg was my childhood golf teacher and an absolute gem—kind, funny and unfailingly patient. I’m so lucky to have learned from him and to have the Gorg family as friends. Love you all, @Gorgamatic21
Endings are always really hard - my dad Kenny Gorg as he was known in Minnesota Golf circles passed away overnight at the age of 86.
He was in assisted living for the last 21 months courageously fighting dementia.
We are truly heartbroken but know he is in a better place. 🙏

Journalist Don Lemon just arrived at federal court in St Paul to face charges related to an anti-ICE protest at a Minnesota church last month.
Lemon walked in with Joe Thompson, who’s representing him after recently resigning from the US Attorneys Office.
About 100 protestors are still at the Whipple Federal Building in Minneapolis, blowing whistles and horns as ICE agents come and go.
There are also volunteers here meeting detainees as they’re released to offer them a ride home.
Walz says nothing has changed about the way Minnesota handles immigration enforcement, saying the state supports targeted enforcement but not the tactics ICE agents used during Operation Metro Surge.
Minnesota @GovTimWalz says the state will “trust but verify” the federal government’s plan to end its immigration surge, saying agents are leaving because “in very Trumpian fashion, they needed to save face.”
Walz says the state will now start recovery, promising accountability.
Homan also said “there were some issues” during Operation Metro Surge, but “I’m not going to say anybody did anything wrong and that they were unprofessional.”
Border czar Tom Homan says the federal immigration surge in Minnesota is ending.
He says agents arrested 4,000 people, but didn’t say how many were criminals.
He also says agents acted with “professionalism, integrity and compassion,” and says “we’re leaving Minnesota safer.”
