This is one of the most important moments ever aired on CNBC.
Billionaire investor Chamath Palihapitiya says the media lied to millions of Americans about President Trump, and that after going back to the original source material, he realized he had been completely misled about Trumpโs character.
PALIHAPITIYA: โThe reality is that most of us were lied to by the media about President Trump.โ
โAnd if you just go back to the source material, you should take away two things.โ
โOne, he didnโt say half the things he said, and two, why did these other people just fabricate what they wanted to say so that they could essentially assassinate his character?โ
โI think that that second thing is completely unacceptable in America, and thereโs still been no repercussions, really.โ
โI took the time to learn about it. I admitted whereโฆyou know, the way that I met him was, I admitted on the pod, which, you know, has millions of viewers.โ
โAnd I said, I got it totally wrong because I went and I watched Charlottesville.โ
โAnd, you know, the first person to call me? President Trump.โ
โAnd I got to know him and I put the phone down, I called my wife, and I said, we got it TOTALLY, totally wrong. We were lied to.โ
โAnd then I got to know him and he is fantastic!โ
@chamath
@nickshirleyy Next time they say, we only take hospital referrals say, yes, but I want to pick one for her. What makes you different or better than your competitors? What do the families that use you say they appreciate?
@catmrow0@PadrePalma@KaseyL56440 Donโt let others sins cause you to sin. The early Christians didnโt abandon the faith with Judas betrayal, Peterโs denial, the acceptance of PaulโฆGod has allowed โbadโ Popes before. Remain faithful to Scripture, know the catechismโthe apostolic teachings and traditions, & pray!
Charlie Kirk was a patriot, an incredible husband, father, friend, and champion of his faith and an inspiration.
I am proud to join together with my colleagues to honor his life and legacy with the unanimous passage of my resolution naming October 14, 2025, as a National Day of Remembrance for Charlie.
@patrickwebb Great idea. Companies have created GMO food (which some harms health) and put patents on it. Monsanto would threaten and sue farmers when their crop was contaminated with โtheirโ pollen as if they stole it. No one should own exclusive rights to food.
