How can you NOT believe in God when octopuses dream and otters have a favorite rock they carry around in a little skin pocket and cows have best friends and bees are out there communicating the coordinates of flowers through dancing and they have regional dialects?
Cats are purring at frequencies associated with bone healing? Forests get absolutely incinerated and respond by growing flowers? Dolphins literally invent names for themselves and yell them across the ocean? Penguins are waddling around Antarctica looking for the perfect rock to give their partner?
CROWS REMEMBER YOUR FACE. THEY TELL OTHER CROWS ABOUT YOU. THEY TELL THEIR CHILDREN ABOUT YOU. YOU CAN HAVE GENERATIONAL BEEF WITH A BIRD. I NEED YOU TO UNDERSTAND THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THIS.
Goats have accents. Rats laugh when you tickle them. Elephants mourn their dead. Whales make songs and then OTHER WHALES LEARN THE SONG and suddenly everybody across the ocean is singing the new song.
Monarch butterflies are born knowing how to fly thousands of miles to a place they have never been.
Sea turtles hatch out of an egg, immediately sprint toward an ocean that they have never seen, disappear into it for like 3 decades and then somehow come back to the same beach they hatched on.
Birds can see colors that we humans can’t see. There are colors out there right now that we don’t even get to know about.
There are sea slugs that eat algae and use the chloroplast/chlorophyll and then are just like…photosynthesizing. And they’re super adorable.
There are mushrooms communicating underground. There are seeds sitting in the dirt for decades like “no actually I will wait. It’s fine.”
Squirrels plant trees because they forget where they put their snacks. Relatable.
A CATERPILLAR GOES INTO A LITTLE BAG THAT IT CREATES ITSELF AND DISSOLVES MOST OF ITS BODY INTO ORGANIC GOO AND REARRANGES ITSELF, GROWS WINGS AND THEN LEAVES. WHY IS THIS NOT MORE BEAUTIFULLY TERRIFYING TO PEOPLE??
And you’re telling me a tiny acorn knows how to become a huge tree? It just has a blueprint inside itself?
Your body started as ONE CELL.
ONE.
And that cell divided itself into a brain that can think about its own existence and eyes that can look at stars and hands that can hold somebody else’s hands and a heart that runs on electricity without you even asking it to?
The iron in our blood was made inside a star??
We are walking around on a wet rock covered in bioluminescent oceans and singing whales and laughing rats and birds holding lifelong grudges and flowers exploding out of fire and somehow we’re supposed to act like this is a normal place to live?
We’re supposed to act like this is all just a random, accidental sequence of events?
Meryl Streep is a brilliant actress. That isn't the point.
C.S. Lewis wrote Aslan as Christ. Male. He. The Son of the Emperor-Over-the-Sea.
Netflix has chosen a woman to give voice to that explicitly male Christ figure.
This doesn't happen in a cultural vacuum. For years, Hollywood has been deliberately breaking the connection between biological sex, gender and identity, particularly in stories presented to children.
Male becomes female.
Female becomes male.
And eventually the audience is expected to pretend there are no differences. As if they weren't there.
Now that treatment has reached Aslan, one of the most recognizable representations of Jesus Christ in children's literature.
This is not “artistic vision.” This switch from male to female of a representation of Christ in literature is both disrespectful of C.S. Lewis' original work and and the man himself.
At what point does “inclusion” become the deliberate erasure of the source material, and a mockery of the Christian faith at its center?
The postcard version of Britain, the one on every calendar and every biscuit tin, was laid out by livestock, and most of it was laid out before anyone thought to write it down.
The acre is the ground a yoke of oxen could plough in a day. The furlong is how far they could pull before they needed to stop. Every ancient field in England is the length of an ox's patience and the width of his turning circle, and when the low sun comes across a pasture in February and picks out those long green corrugations, that is a medieval ox team, still visible, 800 years after the last one was unyoked.
The bare green fells are bare because grazing has kept the seedlings off them since the Bronze Age. The purple August moor is heather, and heather is a grazed plant. The chalk down with the short springy turf carries up to 40 species in a square metre, orchids among them, and it carries them because sheep have kept the coarse grass down for 2,000 years. Fence that off and hand it to nature and you have blackthorn scrub inside a decade and not one orchid.
The white horse cut into the hillside at Uffington has stayed white for 3,000 years because somebody keeps the stock off it and the grass down around it.
The hedges were grown as fences that mend themselves, laid and bound so a heifer could not push through. They are now the best wildlife corridors in northern Europe, and nobody planted a yard of one for the wildlife.
The stone walls exist because the stone had to go somewhere and the stock had to stay somewhere, and one problem solved the other.
The lanes sunk 10 feet below the fields, ferns growing out of the banks either side, were worn down by hooves going the same way every autumn for six centuries. The market towns sit where they sit because that was a day's drive apart. The inns are called the Drovers, the Bull, the Fleece and the Ram because that is who filled them.
The village green is common grazing with a bench on it.
The parish church has a wool porch on it, paid for by fleece money in the fifteenth century, in villages that now have forty houses and no shop.
The gates hang where a man could open them with a stick and a dog waiting. The stiles exist because a person can climb one and a bullock cannot. The cattle grid, the ford, the pinfold on the corner where strays were shut until somebody paid to get them out.
The hay meadow is a crop of winter feed that happens to flower. The orchard is grazed under, which is why the trees are pruned high enough for a cow to walk beneath them. The pond in the corner of the field was dug for stock to drink and now holds the newts.
The skylark is up there because something has kept the sward short enough for her to nest in it. The barn owl hunts a field margin that exists to keep a tractor off a hedge. The dung beetle is the reason the pasture is not knee deep in what the cattle left, and there are 60 species of them in Britain doing that work for nothing.
Every view anyone has pulled over to photograph is the leftovers of a working arrangement between people and animals. The beauty was a byproduct. Nobody was aiming at it.
There are now well-funded people, with reports and radio slots, proposing to protect this landscape by removing the animals that made it.
You can take the herd off and keep the hills.
You will not keep anything on them that made you stop the car.
A guy worked at Amazon for 5 years 2 years in the Prime membership growth team and 3 years in operations.
He left in 2024. He's still a Prime member.
He told me: "There are 157 million Prime members in the U.S. At least 130 million of them use Prime for one thing: free shipping. That's a $139/year membership being used as a $7.95 delivery fee waiver. The average Prime member has access to $2,400+ in annual benefits and uses about $300 worth. The rest the pharmacy, the photo storage, the gaming library, the grocery discounts, the free food delivery, the fuel savings, the free streaming music, the free books, the free movies in theaters sits dormant in their account, fully paid for, never activated."
"Amazon doesn't advertise most of these benefits. They're not on the homepage. They're not in the shipping confirmation email. They're buried in a benefits page most members have never visited. And that's by design because every benefit you don't activate is a benefit Amazon doesn't have to fulfill. Your subscription funds the infrastructure. Your inaction keeps the margins high."
"I spent 2 years studying why members churn. The #1 reason people cancel Prime isn't the price. It's 'I'm not getting enough value.' They were getting the value. They just didn't know it was there."
Here are the 10 Amazon Prime benefits most members have never activated and the math that proves the membership pays for itself 5x over:

How can you possibly support Israel?
Westerners who adopt the Palestinian cause from a place of distance and comfort struggle to understand people like me; people who come from the Arab world and have walked away from it. Some of us didn’t just walk away. We chose a side.
I am the daughter of a Lebanese mother and a Syrian father.
My mother is a child of the Lebanese Civil War—a war in which militias, backed and fueled in the name of the Palestinian cause, tore Lebanon apart. Lebanese killed Lebanese. A country was destroyed, not to save Lebanon, but to serve a broader ideological project.
My father is Syrian. I grew up watching what regimes and militias did in Syria and Lebanon while constantly hearing that all of it was Israel’s fault.
That was the story.
But it didn’t match reality.
We lived humiliation, corruption, fear. We stood for hours at checkpoints, bribed officials for basic rights, feared prisons where people disappeared. We watched regimes claim to fight for Palestine while crushing their own people without mercy.
And still, we were told to sacrifice more. For Palestine.
At our expense.
So yes, let me be clear:
Do I stand with Israel against those who destroyed our countries in the name of that cause?
Any day. Anytime.
Because I have seen what they did to us.
And when I went to Israel, I saw something I was never supposed to see: a functioning country—a society with rights, accountability, and dignity—something my own region denied us.
That doesn’t mean Israel is perfect.
It means the story I was told was incomplete—and dangerously so.
So when you ask, “How can you possibly support Israel?”
Understand this:
Some of us are not speaking from ideology.
We are speaking from experience. And no, we were not paid or manipulated. We changed our minds when we finally saw the full picture.

In this powerful and eye-opening conversation, Amir Tsarfati sits down with @RawaneOsmane, one of the most courageous voices speaking out against antisemitism today.
Born in Damascus, raised in Lebanon, and once a supporter of Hezbollah, Rawan shares her extraordinary journey from indoctrination and hatred to truth, clarity, and hope. She exposes how antisemitism is deeply embedded in education, media, and culture across the Arab world and why the hatred of Jews has never truly been about Israel.

The entire message I received out of Tehran is too gruesome. But I'll share this:
Three brothers — protesting for freedom — were set on fire by the Regime's forces.
Don't just read that over and over. Share it over and over.
Islamic regime imam: “Women are animals created by Allah to be used by men.
Women are no different from cows, sheep, horses, or mules. God made women resemble humans so they wouldn’t frighten men.”
These are the mullahs who rule Iran. Why do they hate women so much?
This is historic. Iranians are bravely flying the real flag of Iran, the Lion and Sun flag, in the heart of their own country as they stand up against the Islamic regime.
The media is completely ignoring this.
Share it. Make it go viral.
CHRISTMAS AT LOVE’S
I heard the radio at Love’s
Some carol playing through the speaker
Above the coffee and the gloves,
The lot lizards and the tweaker.
A woman in a ‘79 trailer
Watched her two kids tear the wrap
From Dollar General. She’d failed her-
Self again. Same Christmas trap.
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
The Aaron’s table held the haul:
A Barbie. Socks. A plastic truck.
She’d worked the register at the mall
Sixty hours. Still broke. Still stuck.
A soldier somewhere in the sand
Checked his bank account and grinned
Seventeen-seventy-six had hit. His hand
Still shook. His buddy’s blood still thinned.
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
The Target girls got one day off.
The Walmart boys slept past the dawn.
The preachers preached. The skeptics scoffed.
And somehow Christmas stumbled on.
I bowed my head inside my rig
And said what I’d been scared to say:
“This hope of Yours ain’t worth a fig.
You ain’t showed up. Not once. No way.”
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
Then something spoke below the hum
Of diesel engines in the cold.
A voice like where I’m running from.
A voice like stories my grandma told:
“You think I came for marble floors?
For kings in robes and golden rings?
I came for truckstops. I came for whores.
I came for busted, broke-down things.”
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
He wasn’t born in Bethlehem
The way the Christmas cards pretend
All clean and lit. He came for them:
The ones the world forgot to mend.
A teenage mother. Dirty straw.
A stepdad who didn’t understand.
No crib. No nurse. No doctor saw
That God was blue and small and banned.
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
So let the rich hang lights on brick.
Let Instagram show perfect trees.
My people’s hope don’t need that trick.
We got a God down on His knees.
The woman in the trailer wept.
Her kids won’t know how close it was.
But something in her chest still kept
Believing. And that something does.
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
The soldier made it home alive.
The cashier clocked back in next week.
And me—I’m just trying to survive
With every mile. But still I seek.
The bells can ring for those who’ve got
The house, the wife, the life, the luck.
But Christmas came for those who’ve not.
For Love’s. For trailers. For the stuck.
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
A new website that shows evidence found in Gaza on how Hamas and their many supporters and other complicit entities planned and executed the attacks on October 7.
Please share this widely.

Christians are being massacred, and their women kidnapped, raped, and forcibly converted daily in Nigeria.
This year, more Christians have been killed in Nigeria than Palestinians in Gaza.
And yet, not a single protest for them!
