.@NevadansCount, coalition, opposed to the #NVRedistricting maps, voices disappointment on #SB1

"The redistricting process should always be about communities of interest that the members of the Legislature are elected to represent, not the benefits towards one party or another."

[Silver State Voices @SSV_NV]

The NV Legislature has released their newly revised congressional map. This map is not reflective of the community feedback that was given during yesterday's committee meeting, and it does not adequately represent the Latino community in Nevada.

Latinx Nevadans needs maps that will allow them to elect reps that not only look like them, but actually understand the community’s needs. That’s why the .@NevadansCount coalition submitted a congressional map. Click on the link to see it & leave a comment in support! #NVLeg

🔥@NevadansCount created a congressional map to ensure ALL communities are equitably represented. We build power by looking out for each other, not by pitting communities against each other. Leave a comment in support on the link below #NVLeg https://t.co/M5bPYCVVa8

Once again congratulations!!!

For my family, for my community, for those that came before me, and those that will come after.

Today, I’m sworn in as the State Senator for District 10. I will do my best to fight for justice and lead the way for a more equitable, healthier Nevada.

Nevadans with different backgrounds and immigration histories reacted positively to executive orders signed by Biden on immigration issues. @JoeVigil reports.

In the end it's not about politics, we're talking about HUMAN LIVES Politicians I urge you all to come to an agreement on this serious problem until then we will continue to lose lives. I pray for all the families who lost someone this weekend. #ElPaso 3/3

[Janette Mata @JanetteMataTV]

I didn't write anything before because I didn't want to say something that I regretted later. With what happened in El Paso, Texas I feel a lump in my throat every time I hear new statistics or stories and the truth is that I am very mad that these massive shootings continue! 1/3

[Janette Mata @JanetteMataTV]

Especially this one that was a direct attack on the Hispanic community. If we have to blame someone, it is ALL of our politicians, Republicans, Democrats and more, because no one has been able to attack the real problem in this country, a country that disappoints me every day 2/3

@SouthwestAir YOU can give me a free ticket to Hawaii and still wouldn’t fly. Horrible customer service, last time I fly with you guys that’s for sure. #southwest

[Janette Mata @JanetteMataTV]

@SouthwestAir What is your policy on staff treating people different because of race? #NotStayingQuite

U.S. agents use tear gas as some migrants try to breach U.S.-Mexico border https://t.co/zI4kSKN59o

Not an immigrant who came on a caravan.
Not a Muslim.
Not a refugee.
Not a black man who kneels to protest police brutality.
Not a woman.
Not a Mexican "invader."
Not Middle Eastern

Ian David Long, a white man, from here killed 12 at Thousand Oaks in California!

Truly breaks my ❤️ 😪

[Ed Krassenstein @EdKrassen]

Thousand Oaks shooter Ian David Long was an ex-marine possibly with PTSD. He was mentally ill.

Let's all recall that one of the first things Trump did when he took office was to remove gun checks for the mentally ill.
