This is poignant! The utilisation of optometrists and primary care eye services has to change in England. There must be an exponential increase in eye services being commissioned and universal access to urgent eyecare across every ICB. No ifs, no buts - harness the workforce & capacity now to ensure people in England receive the care they need and to reduce pressure on secondary care services.
