1/ On How Short Life Is
A few years ago, I was walking around in a blizzard in SoHo (New York). It was late, midnight, and it was beautiful.
Some friends, about 15 blocks away, called: "come over?"
It was late, it was cold, was tired, thought "maybe not worth it" but then...
Time is the only resource on which we are all equal, irrespective of social status (health is close). It is very much limited. It's a rare quality to value one's own and other people's time.
The measure of wealth is freedom.
The measure of health is lightness.
The measure of intellect is judgment.
The measure of wisdom is silence.
The measure of love is peace.
