@AmericanTimdog Well, yes, maybe not Sony themselves, but if somebody wishlisted it, they can sue Microsoft. If multiple people feel that there was some sort of misrepresentation they can sue. If there are contracts or agreements in place, they can sue. Not everything in business is clear cut.

@AmericanTimdog Once again, I have all the Gears of War, I will buy Eday wherever it lands. They have contracts that they will buy X amount of whatever from whoever to make a console and they are not getting out of it, that is the reason why. They were very optimistic with Spencer and Bond.

@AmericanTimdog Phil asked the same, his time ran out with Game Pass. She playing the long card does not matter, the reality is that finances will win out in the end, they have sunsetted the brand in EMEA regions. They can focus on exclusivity in the US and they are still focussing in Japan.

@AmericanTimdog I have no problem with Gears going to Xbox or staying on Xbox, but the messaging is what they have done before. The reason Starfield was released on Xbox exclusively is because they stated they have the numbers and do not need the other consoles.

@AmericanTimdog While I like you as a person, Tim, the reality is that Xbox does this every few years. All of this is just marketing. Microsoft wanted Microsoft Gaming. The reality is exclusives will only matter in the regions where they previously had a die hard following.

@AmericanTimdog This is in line with the plans that was outlined and leaked where they gave it until 2027 to guage what is happening. While I would understand them returning to exlusivity in NA and certain regions, they have actively been sunsetting the brand in some regions.

It had both Superman and Batman, it should have obliterated 1 billion easily. I hated the theatrical cut, the ultimate cut was better.
