@augmentcode So it’s easy to a 3-4x price rise embedded into this user message -> credits transition. Prove me wrong, else I’m going to have to look at other options.
@augmentcode You were advertising your user prompt based pricing model as simple etc. first you introduced the idea that 1 user prompt is not unlimited, then you move to a much more complicated pricing model, basically it feels like you got everyone hooked and now let us down. Not impressed
@augmentcode So I’ve just received my forecast and I think there’s a rather significant price hike ahead. My average credit / user message came to 375, which means 106 messages on indie. Well last 7 days I was mostly talking to the AI asking about Prolog problems. No heavy coding task.
@JaySym_Ai@augmentcode Thanks for your reply. I understand the point around sustainability, I hope the new pricing will work out for me, as I like Augment as a product. Just a word of advice if I may. With the massive competition in the ai coding space, sudden price hikes are risky (see cursor)
@augmentcode Thanks for clarifying, however there does seem to be a genuine issue with Visual Studio Code showing 0.555.1 as last available version for Augment, whereas the web version of the Visual Studio marketplace shows 0.561. This is quite confusing, are you aware of this? Thanks.
@nicolasembleton@augmentcode Actually I’m thinking to install manually is that possible? I mean is the plugin available for download outside the marketplace?
@nicolasembleton@augmentcode What occurred to me about a week or so ago is the regular updates to augment stopped happening. Up to that point I received a new version of augment so it was very obvious that something gone wrong there.
@nicolasembleton@augmentcode There seems to be two issues. 1) no releases since Monday 22/9 2) for some people last available plugin version being 0.555.1 which is like 2 weeks old.
@jeffwang@windsurf@figma Unfortunately the plugin is no longer updating in VSC (has been the case for at least a week). Brand new install of VSC shows 0.555.1 as last version for augment whereas VSC marketplace website shows 0.561. Could you please look into this, I’m paying for augment and cannot use it
@augmentcode Augment is not using its memory or the rules. Memory gets wiped randomly. Despite explicit rule to do a source ~/.zshrc in a new terminal it keeps not doing it. Please look into this it’s pretty frustrating.
@augmentcode please fix the terminal integration - augment keeps opening new terminals for each command, doesn’t source the environment or sources it for each command - its quite annoying
