We've raised $1B at a $26B valuation
@cognition is firing on all cylinders, and we are constantly building the future of software engineering. Things are moving so fast that you might have missed some of our latest developments:
-Having an interface that easily manages agents running in parallel
-Choosing the right model for the task, both in accuracy and cost efficiency
-Listening to slack or other data streams and automatically triaging
-Using auto-fix, bug catcher, and Devin Review to add more layers of security to your SDLC
-Having agents automatically fix issues like bugs and vulnerabilities
The secret isn't just the models, it's a robust infra platform that enables your org to scale to thousands of agents in the cloud, constantly running and accelerating your roadmap while automatically taking care of tech debt and other issues.
It's also a team that gives you outcomes, not dev tools. We work closely with your team on figuring out the biggest problems and solving them together. We genuinely want to help you with your AI transformation in a world where AI form factors change every 3-6 months.
I'm so proud of the team here, and grateful to be along for the journey. We have many more announcements to come but we can celebrate today's milestone
1/ We’ve raised over $1B at a $26B valuation, led by @Lux_Capital, @generalcatalyst, and @8vc.
Our enterprise usage has grown >10x since the start of this year, and our run-rate revenue grew to $492 M.
We launched Devin two years ago as the first AI software engineer. Since then, cloud agents have gone from niche to mainstream, and today they are the fastest growing way to create software.
Shipped a new iOS shortcut - kick off Devin Cloud Agents using your action button on iOS, or with one click from your home screen.
You can also create sophisticated automations for any connected repo with natural language.
Give it a shot!

Security hardening is a big initiative at almost every company I talk to
In keeping with the momentum of our Security Agent Swarm release, we’re now launching a Vulnerability Remediation program
We want to auto remediate and burn down your vulnerability backlogs in weeks
Check out our program here and get in touch https://t.co/QJGpCF6L3A
Security is still top of mind and we’ve released Devin Security Swarm
Now you can proactively scan code bases with a team of agents, verify and consolidate findings, and of course patch them as well
We do this for much cheaper than other alternatives while being even more comprehensive
Introducing Devin Security Swarm
A more cost effective and accurate way to find security vulnerabilities in complex codebases, based on a new architecture: Agentic MapReduce.
We’ve developed Devin Fusion, an agent that utilizes a “sidekick” to give you Fable level performance but 35% cheaper
This doesn’t come as a tradeoff to performance, we have utilized FrontierCode to bring this to you and will also continue to do so as new models come out
Conventional model routing sucks. It passes benchmarks but fails to write code you'd actually merge.
Introducing Devin Fusion, a new hybrid-model harness for agentic coding.
In testing, it reduces the cost of Fable-level intelligence by 35% and still feels good to use.
Wow incredible scores from GLM-5.2 and Kimi K2.7, ranking just behind GPT-5.5 and Opus 4.8
And just for fun, we'll make these free for a while for Devin Desktop and CLI, try these out today!
Kimi K2.7 Code and GLM 5.2 are available in Devin Desktop and CLI
Both perform strongly on FrontierCode Extended, our benchmark for real-world engineering tasks:
GLM 5.2: 43.0%
Kimi K2.7 Code: 39.5%
Pro/Max/Teams users can try both models for free until July 5
By far the most underrated feature of Devin right now is actually proving the task is done correctly
You can work with Devin on a comprehensive plan, then actually run the plan out and send back a checklist and video that it did the job correctly
Combine this with robust infra to run operating systems and applications, and you can truly run parallelized work
Devin tests its work before you review the PR.
You review and approve the test plan.
Then get back a screen recording with a visual checklist of step-by-step QA.
Cybersecurity is one of the most important initiatives for the Devin platform and we've rolled out in-depth security review as part of Devin Review. Not only does it help detect ways to keep your PR resilient, but it is integrated as part of the Devin platform if you want to auto-fix or ask more details about it!
Please try this out and let us know of your feedback
Security review is now part of every Devin Review.
Open a PR and Devin automatically finds the vulnerabilities scanners miss, explains each one, and drafts the fix.
Congrats for a successful summit @databricks, the conference circuit is awesome but getting 31k people in one place is exhausting
We’re looking forward to a great partnership together
@levie High cost optimization with similar capabilities is surprisingly difficult, which is why we've focused heavily on evals and classifiers. The layer that can achieve all these needs good evals, data, and verification loops
We’re removing access to Claude Fable 5 in Cognition products following Anthropic’s latest announcement and the US government directive to suspend access.
All other models remain available in Devin, including Claude Opus 4.8 and GPT-5.5.
Devin Ultra mode will continue to use the most powerful available models.
We're putting $10M on the line per customer if you aren't getting the ROI from Devin, but how?
Check out the science behind how we measure ROI and why we are confident in our findings. There are of course reasonable terms to follow
Devin is quickly becoming the winning factor with cloud agents. You're able to send agents from multiple surfaces and monitor them all in app or Devin Desktop, or set up event driven agents that automatically take care of your work
