When I was around 13 my step-father was going crazy. I don't talk about this much but it happened.

The moment I first realized he was losing it was when me and him were alone in the house and he was sitting on the couch chain smoking as was typical. I left my room to go to the kitchen get something and then go back to my room. I typically waited in my room till my mom got home because he was very unpleasant to be around but he tended to just ignore me when she was home. On my way back to the bedroom he called to me. "Michael." I stopped and turned and he told me, "The CIA has hired ninjas to kill me. They are on the roof right now. If you listen, you can hear them."

I did listen. As I stood there and he sat there, in silence, listening for ninjas, I thought for the first time that my step-dad might actually be crazy. It was a strange thought to have about an adult you have been calling "dad" for the past several years.

When I hear Candace Owens now it reminds me of that day.

🚨🚨BREAKING: The head of the counseling department at Biola University (one of the largest evangelical colleges in the country) has declared herself an LGBTQ ally and filed an amicus brief in FAVOR of Colorado’s so-called “conversion therapy” ban, which prevents Christian counselors from using biblical teaching to help clients end unwanted LGBTQ behavior and identities.

The @ADFLegal is suing to overturn the law on the grounds that it is a violation of first amendment free speech and religious liberty rights.

There was a reason that, before his death, @charliekirk11 was warning at @TPUSA events about what was happening at Biola.

But the real story is that the drift and compromise Christian critics are highlighting at Biola is happening all across the Christian Higher Ed landscape, often in even more extreme ways.

We need to talk about how our Christian educational institutions are being infiltrated by people who are not Christian.

@frenlylion @smashbaals I agree with many points of the Calvinists but the old understanding of limited atonement (that only enough blood was shed for the elect) is not one of them. Many newer Calvinists will redefine limited atonement to say "applied only to believers" which nobody really debates.

@TheDutyOfficer @smashbaals This is so He may be blameless and they are without excuse. Also in the Old Testament on Yom Kippur sacrifice made for all but only applied to those who received it by faith. It's simple, salvation is offered to all but only those who have faith receive it.

@TheDutyOfficer @smashbaals I absolutely agree Ephesians 1 is clear elect before the foundation of the world. God is not bound by time. However, in order for God's offer of salvation in so many verses to be genuine, He must offer it to the whole world even though he knows not all will receive it.
