@JaredBratt Well damn! I hadn't seen that before and you know I'm rather fanatical about the feature from 2016. I'd searched around and tried to find it back in 2022 but to no avail. Thank you for sharing it here as I'm glad to have finally seen what inspired one of my all-time favorites. 👊

Nick Of Time (1995) is a fast and furious 90 minute movie from John Badham that doesn’t waste a second, add in Depp and Walken and you have another underrated tight, suspense thriller that delivers the goods!!
“Flaws, implausibilities, audience pandering, miscast performers or just plain stupid shit usually torpedoes every new movie coming out of the flavorless sausage factory that used to call itself Hollywood. These days, the entire concept of what is a movie is more inclined to inspire contempt in me than generosity. Which is fair enough, because by comparison the movies of the last six years make the 80s seem like the 30s.” - Quentin Tarantino
Hollywood is starting to change their system of talent selection. They are now making big bets on successful internet filmmakers. This is amazing news because the alternative was so political and cheesy and failing. It is a new dawn and I am so stoked about it.
