On National Trails Day, we celebrate the incredible recreational benefits of our public trail systems and honor the deep, solemn history preserved along paths like the Nez Perce National Historic Trail in Idaho. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the trail’s designation by Congress in 1986. Stretching over 1,170 miles, this historic trail traces the courageous 1877 flight of the Nez Perce Tribe and serves as a lasting testament to their enduring legacy. The move by the Pentagon to leave The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints off its list of Christian religions is confounding and unacceptable. Regardless of one's own religious philosophy, you will find Latter-day Saints, whose foundational beliefs are centered on Jesus Christ, among the most patriotic individuals in our country, serving not only in the military, but throughout various government departments and around the world. I join with my colleagues and fellow Idahoans calling on the Pentagon to make an immediate correction.
Last week, a proposed list of simplified faith codes was released to the media. The Pentagon list included redundant and unnecessary labeling, and the mistake has been fixed.
The goal of this effort is to simplify a previously out-of-control “belief” coding system that had ballooned to over 200 codes.
In order to clarify the work of chaplains, and simplify the work of commanders, the Pentagon has consolidated and simplified the list to roughly thirty codes — using the previously used labels for faiths.
The Pentagon’s job is not to adjudicate theological debates, but instead to ensure sincerely-held faith is respected and encouraged in our ranks.
Below is the updated Religious Affiliation Codes (RAC) list:
I'm not going to apologize that I have different beliefs than you do. I will fight for you to have your religious beliefs and you can declare those to be whatever you want! I'm a big fan of the 1st amendment.
The Mormon community, like the rest of Idaho, will be richly blessed if I am elected. If not, then we will continue to head quickly toward socialism.
@JoeTalkShow Wow, this is outrageous. The RINO Governor of Idaho just called me and my supporters racist against Mexicans! Because we support federal immigration law?
Brad Little’s liberalism is screaming for attention!
**BREAKING — Idaho governor caught by and independent journalist complaining about outsiders — BUT, then basically acting like he’s a liberal on one of the coasts when it comes to Illegal Immigration. Why? The AG and Dairy lobbies are caught on tape explaining why. Must See 👇👇👇👇👇👇
Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‑day Saints in Marysville, Washington, learned Sunday night that a new temple will be built in their city.
The announcement from the First Presidency was shared by Elder Hugo E. Martinez of the United States West Area Presidency during a devotional in the Marysville Washington Stake.
“We are pleased to announce the construction of a temple in Marysville, Washington,” the First Presidency statement says. “The specific location and timing of the construction will be announced later. This is a reason for all of us to rejoice and express gratitude for such a significant blessing — one that will allow more frequent access to the ordinances, covenants and power that can only be found in the house of the Lord.”

Idaho is NOT for sale.
And its Governor shouldn't be, either.
I'm Mark Fitzpatrick, and I'm running for Governor because Idaho deserves more than Little.

Imagine this:
You speak to national media exposing Idaho leadership allowing tens of thousands of illegal immigrants into our state.
You say a couple names:
- @GovernorLittle
- @BoiseMayor
48 hours later, your business gets a call:
“You’re under audit.”
From the Idaho Tax Commission.
Coincidence? Or Fear?
You don’t want to play this game.

The exiled son of Iran’s last shah who was ousted by the 1979 Islamic Revolution said on Saturday he was ready to lead a transition “as soon as the Islamic Republic falls.”
In a message on his social media channels, US-based Reza Pahlavi said he had already been working to select individuals both inside and outside Iran to serve on what he called a “Transitional System.”
Pahlavi leads one of several opposition movements based outside Iran but his prominence grew after January protests against the clerical system, with some demonstrators calling for a return of the monarchy.
