Would really love a clarification on the decision to award Nicho Hynes a try assist and a line break assist during his Round 6 clash with the Roosters after his pass comes off the head of an opposition player.
But nothing was credited to Stephen Crichton during his Round 4 clash with the Knights after his pass comes off the head of his teammate.
I’d understand if Burton was awarded some kind of involvement with this play, but looking at the stats that have been kept, this try to Jacob Kiraz has been given 0 involvement to anyone.
Hynes initiates the attacking sequence in a pretty traditional 4 attack on 4 defence. Hynes looked to play short to Billy Burns before a deflection, so not his intended target.
Crichton receives the ball in a 4 attack on 5 defence, and then holds the ball up, engaging 3 of the 5 defenders, and leaving Kiraz’s primary defender in no man’s land.

Some of these nrl supercoach pages are worse than the media with the spreading of misinformation on the new stat system
Every tackle is awarded a point, tries off the last pass, hit ups renamed to runs
Everyone can move on 😂 we don’t need a graphic or a podcast on it anymore
Changing to NRL Stats from Fox Sports🤯
Bigger change for supercoaches than 2023 byes !?
All them dual Supercoach and NRL Fantasy players are laughing!!
