Recently, Anti-Ahmadi clerics challenged us at Speakers Corner for a face to face debate. Alhamdulillah, the debate challenge has been accepted and we await their email for confirmation.

Alhamdulillah, many Muslims have been watching my recent debate with @UmarElhashmi, and this is precisely the purpose of such discussions. The aim is to present evidence from the Qur’an and Sunnah openly, so Muslims themselves can assess the arguments and recognize where the truth lies.

Ultimately, guidance comes only from Allah, and sincere prayers are essential.

Umar is the first scholar I have debated in a properly moderated setting. In all honesty, he was significantly more knowledgeable than Adnan Rashid and those who follow him. His conduct was also commendable, and he adhered to the principles of munāẓarah throughout the discussion. I can confidently say that the “Salafis” I have debated have likely not even read a page of works such as Fath al-Bārī, let alone read it any classical tafsir.

@DrShadeeElmasry fulfilled his role as moderator with integrity. Despite holding a differing view from mine, he maintained fairness, gave both sides equal time, and treated both participants with respect.

For me it was my best debate in which I feel I was able to stay on topic and address every point to the best of my ability alhamdulillah. May Allah increase me in knowledge and enable me to defend Islam
