Staking my claim on Matthew Golden, he’s going to be a star receiver in this league. The intangibles are all there, it’s oddly reminiscent of a young Davante Adams. Someone who wasn’t asked to do much for their role year one and struggled. Hopefully he’ll follow the same path.
@Ace77ofnocal The kid ran Mike Leach’s offense surprisingly well, looked incredibly competent on film and likable at Gruden’s QB Camp. There has to be something we don’t know.
@Bustinisgone@PCK3RS@SleeperNFL “Should’ve taken burden” The Packers took Matthew Golden to replace Doubs. There’s a reason Watson got extended and Doubs didn’t. But sure, the 4th string receiver not putting up as good of stats as someone who was the only healthy wr in the room at times means he’s terrible.
@Bustinisgone@PCK3RS@SleeperNFL Watson missed 6 games bc of a TORN ACL AND PLAYED THROUGH INJURY. Your top 10 pick is not even better than Watson. Watson did it on significantly less catches too.
@PCK3RS I really like this move im ngl. Tyrod is solid. You at least know what you’re getting with Tyrod. I get the hype behind a guy like AR and ik people been calling for him but he doesn’t fit our timeline or cost imo.
@Bustinisgone@PCK3RS@SleeperNFL Top 10 pick not being able to break 750 yards btw. With Doubs gone Golden will get his time, he absolutely cooked yall in the playoff game, 4 catches for 84 yards and a TD from the 4th string receiver btw. And how many games did Watson play in last year? 10? And he matched Rome.
@Bustinisgone@PCK3RS@SleeperNFL YOU can’t speak on this. At least the Lions and Vikings have one elite receiver, yall lost DJ and have underperforming Rome and YAC merchant Burden. ANY of the other teams can talk smack, the Bears CANNOT.
