One of my followers here just bagged Chevron.
Things I love to hear!
Many people will still mot believe people het top jobs like this without knowing anyone.
Today, in shaa Allah, we wrap up our NLNG assessment center coaching that has taken my and my partner @maclatunji's weekends for the past 6 weeks, with travels across Lagos, Abuja and PH. Personal trips to Kwara inbetween.
We would have prepared 112 candidates, about one-quarter of the total candidates that got to that final stage of NLNG recruitment.
I hope to share redacted screenshots of success stories when their results come out later this year like I did after NNPC recruitment of last year.
I wish these incoming oil & gas professionals all the best.
We @jarushub are done with NLNG Assessment Center Physical Coaching Sessions for Abuja and Lagos.
Our final set of coaching include virtual coaching on Wednesday, June 3 and physical coaching in Port Harcourt on Saturday, June 6. After that, we are wrapping up Godwilling
One university in the North West just partnered with @JarusHub to train two of their lecturers on interview coaching, sort of "Train the Trainer" initiative.
The two lecturers will then design a program to teach their students how to pass job interviews before they graduate.
I think I like the school's initiative.
Most Nigerian public schools do not care about this.
They don't have job search and career guidance units.
Foreign schools - especially UK schools that I have experienced - do this. They have career and job search support systems.
This also aligns with what Mr Dapo Olagunju, MD West Africa for JP Morgan, said in an interview he granted me in 2019 (extract below):
"It is clear that most people have not been tutored in interviewing skills and often times under-sell themselves in the process. Schools should seek to offer career guidance for students covering “soft” issues such as job applications, CV surgeries, interviewing and networking skills."
Happy that this federal university leadership considered this and we are excited to support them.
Given the publicity the last Seplat GT recruitment got, I hope their server won't crash this time 😃
Seplat opens graduate trainee recruitment again.
Limited to science and engineering this time.
2:1 and above.
@JarusHub waiting as usual for coaching when it gets to interview level. Before then, do your own part by applying and passing the pre interview stages (tests).
All the best.
My next seven weekends (both Saturday & Sunday, morning till evening) are booked for JarusHub NLNG physical coaching sessions across Lagos, Abuja and PH, with virtual sessions holding midweek, every week, in the same period.
About 30k people applied for the NLNG job.
About 400 made it to this stage.
About 50 will likely get in.
Our goal at @JarusHub is to make sure at least 30 of the 50 successful candidates are from those that attended our training.
About 100 of our trainees got into NNPC last year. We are targeting minimum of 30 into NLNG in the current recruitment cycle. God help us.
Ise ya.

These tips will help you for other O&G companies too because they basically copy each other.
Same concepts. Different buzz words.
