Want to get hired in AI in 2027? Stop collecting tutorials and start building things people can actually use.

Start small with an email assistant, a research agent or your own MCP server. Then move on to agents that work with GitHub, databases, browsers and real business workflows.

Once you have the basics, build something harder: multi-agent systems, autonomous coding, long-term memory, evaluation and observability. These are the problems that separate a working demo from a reliable system.

Don't try to build everything. Pick three projects, increase the difficulty each time, and make sure every one has a live demo people can try.

A portfolio full of finished projects says more than a folder of tutorials ever will. In 2027, show people what you can build, not just what you've learned.

Big days agree (mean $1.4bn), small days don't ($0.7bn). The metric is all-market taker buy minus sell: corr +0.65 with OKX contract taker net, +0.14 with OI change, +0.77 with the SAME day's return. Weekly forward test t=1.97, one sub-period is 0.00. A ruler, not a signal.

honest feedback from someone all in on grok bot

paying $200/mo for ultra, running a ~10 bot team, and I'm at 22% of my weekly pool after ONE day 😡

and thats WITH the bots offloading the heavy stuff. building, QA, refuting plans all goes to my claude + codex subs. like 130 claude code + 260 codex sessions in the last day. grok bot is basically just planning, routing and checking

at this pace my whole team sits idle ~2 days til reset. the magic is going all in and letting it run continuously.. if it can't make it thru a week it gets real hard to justify. not trying to bail but kinda feels like I'm being pushed to
