@grok What are the strongest counterarguments to the claim that the U.S. never landed on the Moon in 1969? I can see why some people are skeptical: the radiation exposure astronauts would have faced, the limits of 1960s technology, and the fact that we haven’t sent people back since.
@SamMendel00@grok What happens when a storm comes through that makes waters rough? The ocean can be terrifying and no way these solar panels would survive rough waters like that. I'm assuming they're constantly towed away from bad weather?
The throw at the end of the Seattle game & the throw to Travis Hunter is what has me alarmed. Situational football awareness is at an unfathomable all time low here. You learn not to make these throws in 6th grade. Every fan that has the athletic ability of an indoor snail knows not to make those throws. This is lifetime back up QB type behavior. Another decision like this and it's a fireable offense.
What's even crazier is when you notice a quarterback is struggling like this, you mix in the run game. Yet McDaniel refuses and he is just letting Drake throw every single play and it is nauseating to watch. Why are we not taking the ball out of Drake's hands and running the ball even if it results in a three-and-out? A three-and-out is better than a pick-six every goddamn time.
@MaxUnfried "Current pace" doesn't apply anymore, Max. The exponential acceleration from the singularity is completely rewriting timelines. We’re moving in months now, not decades. Anyone betting that LEV will take another 70+years is going to get crushed by the Casino!!!
It's the machine hard at work. If its not this its that. They point, and the machine blindly attacks. 10% of humanity being wiped out which is more likely less than 1% (not 0) however absolutely zero mention of what the other 99% represents. Does safety need to catch up? Yes. But holy shit the absolute bull shit these people have been throwing at the wall regarding false narratives with data centers and AI fear mongering is absurd. I for one want to live in a world where the poorest person in the world has free food, free transportation aka autonomous limo service, free housing, free healthcare and not like Canada, the BEST health care in the world. No diseases. Longevity therapeutics allowing for prosperous life to extend well beyond 150 years of age and the craziest discovers across math, science and physics which will lead to such an awesome world. But ya, if I just bang on my drum and scream BAD AI! BAD AI! If that gets me clicks the sure...let's do that instead. Infuriating.
An AI-"assistant" teacher can give students in grades 1–8 personalized, on-demand help by adjusting lessons, practice problems, reading levels, and feedback to each child’s pace. It can make learning more interactive through games, visuals, translations, and immediate explanations....especially useful when a student needs extra practice outside class.
A human teacher provides the relationships, encouragement, judgment, classroom leadership, and emotional support that children need. Teachers can notice when a child is discouraged, confused, anxious, or having social difficulties, and they can build a safe, motivating classroom community.
For elementary and middle school students, AI should be a teaching assistant...not a replacement for the teacher. AI can personalize academic practice and reduce routine workload, while human teachers guide learning, protect student wellbeing, teach social skills, and make the final decisions about what each child needs.
Bottom line this blend is 1000x more beneficial vs banning AI ...My Goodness.
