@brymanley@MCmuckraker I know something about his personal accomplishments and a lot about his agenda, but not a whole lot about his accomplishments as a public servant.
@brymanley@MCmuckraker I've heard some of that. Narcan is the issue I know abt & it's good that he did it, but most health departments did that over the same period. The rest of it sounds good. It would be good to see some reporting on accomplishments & whether he stood out among his peers.
@MCmuckraker I meant job effectiveness which, of course, is a lot more than attendance. El Sayed has been a public servant. I don't know anything about his impact with the county or city health departments.
@Ike_Saul@EvidenceBaseShi If what you're saying is correct, why would Rs want to pass funding for ICE if ICE is already funded? https://t.co/CNx7aSvjMp
@DavidAFrench To what extent do some of the concerns raised in the dissent -- the mess of potential refunds & trade deals made under now-invalidated threats -- point to the court needing to move faster? Things would be much less messy if they'd acted faster.
@afterpartyemily@emilyjashinsky@cenkuygur About cancel culture, "I've gone through it about 2000 times... (they use cancel culture) because it works, it literally eliminates your opponent." Says a guy who courts controversy and makes millions from his speech.

@KeithNHumphreys@RecoveryDoctor@CharlesFLehman 100%. In Michigan, we've had a standing order for many years, but the cost made it a non-factor. Further, free naloxone distribution was gearing up around that time. In the years since, it's been REALLY easy to get naloxone for free, anonymously.
