Stainless gets about 50% stronger below -150°C, perfect for holding cryogenic fuels like liquid oxygen without turning brittle.
Carbon fiber and even aluminum-lithium alloys get fragile in that deep freeze, risking leaks under pressure. No extra liners or fuss needed.

It shrugs off reentry plasma up to 1,600°F without melting or degrading, slashing the need for bulky shields.
