Communism means the state owns and controls virtually everything. Socialism means some programs, healthcare, transit, childcare, are publicly funded within a system that still has private property and markets. Confusing the two is either ignorance or a scare tactic. Given your job, its probably both.

And "no police, no borders" is not Mamdani's platform. His actual plan adds a $1.1 billion community safety department alongside police, and focuses on rent freezes and lower grocery prices; affordability, not chaos as your boss.

Here is the actual danger: concentrating unaccountable power in the hands of a few, whether that is a communist politburo or a president extorting states and funneling taxpayer money to his own family.

That is the real thread connecting authoritarianism throughout history. People are not "embracing communism." They are exhausted watching their tax dollars looted by corruption instead of invested in them as you act like a rubber stamp.

Alright, let’s walk through Trump's greatest hits.

1) “I inherited the worst inflation in 48 years…some say in history.”
That’s a lie. September inflation sits at 3%, the same place it was when he took office. Except the prices are going up.

2) “Slashed prescription drug prices by 400–600 percent”
This doesn't even make sense. You can’t cut a price 600% unless the drug company starts paying you to take it. There would be a line at Walgreens.

3) “Border was open…invaded by an army of 25 million…from prisons and asylums.”
That “25 million” number is recycled old garbage to scare you. Real CBP data shows about 10–11 million encounters, many multiple times, including people expelled or turned back. Migrants with criminal records were tens of thousands a year, not millions and many were rejected or removed, not let in.

4) “Record-breaking $18 trillion of investment.”
Another nonsense. There’s no evidence for $18 trillion. Even the White House’s own number is about $9.6 trillion, and that includes soft promises, trade goals, and stuff that started before him. Calling that “secured” is like calling an Amazon wish list a purchase.

5) “Gas under $2.50 in much of the country…$1.99 in some states.”
National average around then was roughly $2.90, not $2.50

6) “1,600 new power plants in 12 months.”
Another number he just pulled out of a hat. It's just a lie. ZERO evidence of this.

“Democrat shutdown”? Nope. You have the White House, House and the Senate. Your CR isn’t “clean.” It dodges the real fight: keeping ACA premium help in place before Nov 1 open enrollment and Dec 31 expiry. That’s leverage, not neutral.

“Nothing to negotiate”? Give me a break. If millions could lose affordable coverage in 2026 without the credits, there’s plenty to negotiate. This would cost countless lives.

“Illegals get Obamacare”? False. ACA subsidies = U.S. citizens + lawfully present immigrants. Undocumented folks aren’t eligible. That’s the rule. PERIOD!

“Biden gave health care to illegals by EO.” Wrong. The move was to let DACA recipients (lawfully present) buy ACA plans and get the same subsidies as other lawfully present people. Legals, not illegals.

“$200B for illegal immigrants.” Made up. The big price tag on the table is the 10-year cost of ACA credits for Americans. No credible score shows $200B going to undocumented people. Not one.

“Democrats want to kill verification so illegals get paid.” No evidence. Eligibility checks still apply. The fight is about Americans’ premiums, not some nonsense free rides.

“They voted for this same CR 13 times.” Apples and hubcaps. Past “clean” CRs rolled forward key health items. This one punts the ACA credits while open enrollment starts Nov 1.

Rural hospitals: “Dems cut $50B.” Show the page. Neutral summaries don’t back it. Prior packages extended rural lifelines (telehealth, low-volume, MDH, etc.). The talking point isn’t the text. It's a LIE!

“$1.5T woke wish list.” Scare number. Example: CPB ≈ $535M/year, not trillions. That's $0.000535 trillion, you liars. You can hate PBS, but don’t turn a garden hose into Niagara Falls.

“They’d rather pay illegals than troops, WIC, FEMA.” Emotional blackmail. In any shutdown, everyone gets squeezed because no funding bill passed. That’s a shared failure, not proof of secret priorities. You are in charge of the House, Senate & White House. Negotiate.

“Largest popular vote ever = mandate.” Cute line. Population grows; totals grow. Mandates don’t pass bills, your votes do. Do your jobs.

Open enrollment Nov 1. Credits expire Dec 31. Let them lapse and premiums jump, people drop coverage, hospitals eat the bill, families get wrecked or worse.

Who benefits from the stall? The author of Project 2025 who is charge of laying off federal employees. Who pays? The nurse in Des Moines, the trucker in Toledo, the teacher in Tucson, staring at a bigger bill or no coverage.
