In order to get 40%+ attributed revenue from email and SMS, you need to fix these things in exact order:
Deliverability - You can have the best designed emails in the world, but if they land in the spam folder, you're fucked.
Pop-up - You need to be capturing people's email addresses when they visit your website. You're already spending a lot of money on ads, so why not make the most out of that ad spend?
"But pop-ups ruin our conversion rates." Unless you have shitty pop-ups, you have a CRO problem.
Flows - You need to set up at least 7 email flows: Welcome, Abandoned Cart, Abandoned Checkout, Browse Abandonment, Site Abandonment, Post-Purchase, and Win-Back.
Campaigns - You need to be sending 3-4x per week to stay top of mind with your customers.
