Mike Pompeo just tore apart JD Vance’s bizarre attempt to force a suicidal “status quo” on Israel — one that leaves Israeli security completely abandoned while Iran and its proxies murder Israelis daily, and America prevents Israel from defending itself.
Pompeo said it clearly:
“We cannot have a status quo in which Iran can close the Strait at any time or use its proxies to attack Israel. We have to finish the job so that this regime is defanged - period.”
The most sickening part of @JDVance's mid-book tour press conference?
Right here, where he accuses Israel(!) of attacking civilian population centers in Beirut when every honest person on earth knows it is exactly the other way around.
This man CANNOT be our next president.
So we thought we would sign an MOU with a terror regime, sideline our best ally in the region while agreeing for Israel to pull out of Lebanon on their behalf (but without them being at the table), and expect them to take marching orders from us, leaving their citizens exposed to Hezbollah rockets? And now we are surprised when Israel remained in Lebanon to protect their civilians and Switzerland was cancelled by Iran because Israel won’t comply and it’s collapsing before it even started? LOL. Who is the “brainchild” behind this? Whoever is strategizing this stupidity has NO understanding of the Middle East. A fifth grader will laugh at this.
Listen to Brian Kilmeade on Fox News telling the truth:
“I wish [JD Vance] would be as tough on Iran as he was on Israel yesterday. If you want Israel to go along with the plan, you should tell them what’s in the plan. They were not even in the talks. All of a sudden they are roped into it. It’s up to Iran to tell Hezbollah, who does whatever you tell them, to knock it off — and then Israel will knock it off.”
Exactly.
Israel is being pressured, demonized, and tied down while Iran’s regime and its terror proxy Hezbollah continue attacking. This isn’t “negotiation.” It’s throwing your ally under the bus to appease the world’s leading terror sponsor.
Let me be clear, I don't care where $300 billion comes from.
Giving the Iranian regime that chants “death to America” billions and billions of dollars is a bad idea.
