Press inquiries: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE October 3, 2026 Dewey Dogs: A New Flame-Grilled Hot Dog Concept Built Around Dewey FORT MADISON, IOWA — Midwest entrepreneur Jason Eaves is developing Dewey Dogs, a drive-through restaurant concept built around 100% flame-grilled, all-beef hot dogs cooked over a real open flame. The concept is being designed to launch with a minimum of three locations opening at the same time, creating an established brand presence from the beginning rather than starting with a single location. Dewey Dogs will feature its own signature recipes, including signature chili, mac and cheese and coleslaw, along with bacon, sharp cheddar, onions, jalapeños, signature sauces, Dewey’s Signature Chips and other menu items. The restaurants are envisioned primarily as drive-through kiosks in high-traffic locations, including areas near major businesses and manufacturing facilities, with standalone locations also possible. At the center of the brand is Dewey, Eaves’ Dalmatian and the inspiration behind the name, personality and identity of Dewey Dogs. Eaves is also building an online community around Dewey Dogs. The Dewey digital token has already been developed and launched as part of an unconventional approach to building a community around the brand and helping bring the initial three-location launch to life. The objective is not simply to open another hot dog stand. Eaves is building Dewey Dogs as a recognizable restaurant brand with a distinct food, visual and community identity, beginning with three locations and a long-term plan for expansion. About Dewey Dogs Dewey Dogs is a Midwest-born drive-through restaurant concept featuring 100% flame-grilled, all-beef hot dogs, original signature recipes and a Dalmatian named Dewey at the heart of the brand.
