I thought they should get paid years ago. It’s the free for all that’s a problem. The transfer portal is killing what made college sports great. Now it’s just minor leagues where players can look for another school when the seasons over. Horrible!

Still the most YPG in a season in the NFL other than the 81 strike shortened year and one AFL player in 1961.

@MuseBaker I'll take Bruce, Holt and Hirsch over Evans on the Rams. Either way, it's ABSOLUTELY NOT Obviously. Evans never led the league in receiving or receptions and never 1st team all pro. Bruce, Holt and Hirsch all did at least one of those.

What made college sports great was that it was amateur and the players for the most part stayed at the school they started with. Transfers were much more difficult.

@PardonMyTake As for the schedule, yes, they are all professionals, but if you think there isn’t a difference between playing the hardest schedule ever for a playoff team and playing the 10th easiest schedule in the history of the NFL you shouldn’t be talking about football professionally
