@BRAP_Podcast@aarongreenberg@tomwarren The hardware is almost the same, who knows how far away the finished PS5 version may have been, can't imagine they had reached the polish stage yet, just got it to work. Probably not a huge amount of time lost, but I'm not a developer.
@RB_Folkestone@triffic_stuff_ You think police can be everywhere at all times? They seemed to have arrived pretty quick after being alerted if you watch the video.
@vorkzen@Jamessmokeeee@asha_shar Thanks I knew it was one of those. But either way the potential for higher performance is greater on XSX if it's properly utilized. It's usually some Japanese developers who put less effort into Xbox ports I find.
@Jamessmokeeee@asha_shar On the Pro yes, but that's a different tier and much more expensive. On stock PS5 it's very close as that and XSX have essentially the same hardware, but the XSX is clocked that little bit higher so most titles do run better.
@Romano_718@thalstboi@marvel_updat3s I assume he will still be Tony Stark, just him from another multiverse where he instead became bitter and twisted and became Doom instead of Iron Man? So will flesh out his character instead of diminish Iron Man's legacy.
@ibeastIess Watch AEW or AAA and tell me that match was even half decent lol, the card was so boring after the event the day before which showed how to truly tell a story.
@justfilthygamin@Mystic_Senpai@XBOXGamePass Fingers crossed it happens then and we can get some awesome new games, that's far more exciting to me than ones I've played before!
@XanderXander04@Mystic_Senpai@XBOXGamePass Even just making it backwards compatible is the same process, having to reapply for the rights. So they'd be actively losing money if it was just for people to be able to use their existing discs. I enjoyed the games, but like all licensed products, it's just too complicated.
@Its_joever_bruh@Mystic_Senpai@XBOXGamePass Could they create new games in the future? Sure. They could theoretically even get High Moon to do it, but for the past decade they've had them solely working on Call of Duty, which obviously makes far more money than another Cybertron game.
@Its_joever_bruh@Mystic_Senpai@XBOXGamePass Yeah but specifically re-releasing these. You mention business, it would be unwise to pay up big for huge rights to some back catalogue games that didn't even sell that amazingly in the first place and expect to make money from that.
@CaptainChats@JezCorden Helix is still a year and a half away, best case scenario. SDKs aren't going out to devs until March next year, so end of the year is the soonest that could be possible, but more likely 2028. RAM/storage pricing will have hopefully improved a little by then.
@Mystic_Senpai@XBOXGamePass Man why do people keep asking for these, don't you not know how licensing deals work? Activision lost the Transformers rights in 2017, hence why there's been no new games. They can't just re-release the games, they can't legally sell them.
@worldscollide99@AEW@IAmJericho I agree that it was a stupid spot, tribute or not. No selling going through a table just makes it all look silly. It's not that nobody knows it's not real, it's more just dropping the act and being a bit awkward.
@_LightNemesis_@Colteastwood@JezCorden Nixxes, Insomniac, and Naughty Dog were well established before Sony bought them. And I guarantee if they could have afforded it/gotten in there, they'd have loved Bethesda or Activision too. Of course it's buying success, this is business, what else would they be trying to do?
@berniecoen@LeagueUnlimited For our sakes I hope Monday night football doesn't make a return. They were consistently the lowest attended games and also the lowest rated games on Nine (having worked on the NRL several years)!
@Whoatedmycookie@LateNightHalo A lot of the time it's due to limitations at the time. Like that room wouldn't realistically be that dark normally, and if better engine lighting had existed then, it too would have been much brighter due to the lights and hologram casting rays.
