@Blowme866535@9mmsmg Who said anything about taking the land? Just end it being a reservation. They pay no taxes and we provide them billions every year. End that.
@TheRifleman11@AP4Liberty It's a matter of where they want to put them. You put warehouses and manufacturing near the city. They're putting these centers in the middle of nowhere, where people prefer open space, not 1000 acres of building.
@LWeytham@RobProvince That's part of the point. You're the one seeing the restrictions on where you want to live and in what level of comfort, but then complaining that you can't afford it. The obvious suggestion is to change your expectations of one: job prospects, location, comfort level.
@JennPlayTheGame@RobProvince Some like she's saying taking you lunch to work is a great way to save money for more important things. Like trolling people on the Internet.
@SteveGuest Only 0.5%? Great, so let's plop a statement right next to your house, using the same water reservoir you use, and see how happy you are when it periodically runs your well dry or forces you to pay tens of thousands to have a deeper well drilled.
@heckyessica@fledtothesouth More and more is becoming the norm. I personally can't fathom showing up to an interview in less than business casual, and for many jobs, a suit and tie. I even put on dress pants and a nice shirt to pick up an application at Steak and Shake in high school!
@GeoRebekah Don't lose your birth certificate, don't lose your marriage license, and don't lose your divorce decree. Now it's all free because these are things you already had at one point or another.
@smcroasters@AvailableLite9@Type07Safety You're allowed to keep it in your car in Illinois if you're "just passing through". Has to be at least a little more to the story
@RockChartrand@GeneSohoForum Except that illegals DO use welfare throughout our system and are competing for those jobs on an uneven playing field. The scale is tipped by the government in favor of illegals, and correcting this would be a good thing for everyone.
