Love the Stamkos quote saying how this team isn’t done, because they’re absolutely not. Still have all the core pieces and seem to still have that hunger. Had to play 4 different 50 win teams which no team has ever had to do. Couldn’t be prouder and excited for next year already
Colorado had the legs, more skill, depth, and breaks go their way. Would have never thought TB would get this far without Brayden Point and near zero production from Killorn and Hagel. Kudos to 91, 18, 20, 86 for stepping up at forward.
And finally, thank you Tampa Bay Lightning. The last decade has filled me with memories I’ll never forget and the last three years have been magical. Hardest road to winning a cup in NHL history this year and nearly pulled it off. No one should be questioning this team. Period.
Incredible run throughout the last 3 years. I’ll absolutely remember this stretch of Lightning hockey for the rest of my life and have enjoyed every last bit of it. Respect to all the players and to Colorado for finding a way to knock off the back to back champs.
@dantastick@heatdaddy69420 Didn’t know that series was won on a goal scored at even strength in game 2? The whole tweet was ruined by the first sentence for me. Figure out what you’re talking about before tweeting please, it’s embarrassing
@TheNasher61 This is something that definitely should happen and they can just make a new game whenever they decide to switch engines, biggest problem would just be the financial side for EA so I can’t see it happening because there’s no way they don’t lose money by going this route
