The cover-up in Michigan just got even worse.
A massive CNN K-File investigation caught Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed scrubbing over 100 videos to hide his extreme views before the primary. But it turns out that was just the tip of the iceberg and even fellow Democrats are sounding the alarm.
Look at the radical, un-American ideology he tried to delete from the public record:

The 2nd Amendment: He caught heavy heat for a video suggesting we "tweak" and replace the Second Amendment with a right to healthcare.
The 4th of July: He released a video titled "Why Fireworks Suck," urging Americans to find another way to celebrate Independence Day.
The Southern Border: He claimed the border crisis was just an issue Republicans "love to flog" and that it doesn't even make the top 5 issues Americans care about.
American Culture: He went after football, linking the sport to toxic masculinity, slavery, and manifest destiny.
Attacking Female Leaders: High-profile Michigan Democrats publicly blasted El-Sayed, with Rep. Hillary Scholten telling CNN that he has a "uniquely sexist bent." He targeted his female opponents by calling them "empty vessels" who couldn't "string together two coherent sentences."
"Defund the Police" Erasure: Reports from The New York Times reveal he also wiped thousands of old tweets to hide his past public support for the radical "Defund the Police" movement.

Now that he narrowly won his primary and faces Republican Mike Rogers in November, his campaign claims these deleted videos and anti-police stances "don't reflect his beliefs today" and that he magically loves the 2nd Amendment and football.
Are we really supposed to believe he changed his entire worldview just in time for election season, or is this the ultimate political cover-up?

💔 SHE WAS ONLY 23 YEARS OLD.

Her name was Brooke Jackman.

On September 11, 2001, Brooke was trapped on the 104th floor of the North Tower.

She called home. Wanting to talk to her mama just one more time.

But her mama didn't answer.

Brooke reached the answering machine instead.

“Mom, it's Brooke... I was hoping mommy would be home. I'm OK. I love you guys.”

I had never heard this recording before today, and it absolutely broke me.

The night before, this beautiful 23-year-old had told her mother there was more to life than making money. She wanted to leave finance, go back to school and become a social worker helping children.

She never got that chance.

Twenty-five years later, listening to her frightened young voice makes September 11 feel like yesterday.

2,977 lives. 2,977 individual stories. 2,977 families who never got their loved ones back.

Brooke was somebody's little girl.

And in those terrifying final moments, she just wanted her mama. 💔

How could ANYONE forget what happened that day?

🚨PROPERTY TAX HIKE ALERT!!! Your local governments are about to vote on whether or not to raise your property taxes!!

Property tax discussions are often made overly complicated by big government liberals who want to raise your taxes, but who don’t want you to know it!

Let me cut through the spin and be crystal clear: ANY LOCAL OFFICIAL WHO VOTES FOR A TAX RATE HIGHER THAN THE NO-NEW-REVENUE (NNR) RATE IS VOTING TO RAISE YOUR PROPERTY TAXES!!

Be warned, you’ll likely hear officials brag that they plan to “lower your tax RATE.” This is a gimmick... even if your tax RATE is lower than last year's tax RATE, due to rising property appraisals, your property tax BILL will still be higher than last year’s bill if the rate is set higher than the NNR rate.

You can think of the NO-NEW-REVENUE rate (NNR) as last year's “effective” rate adjusted for inflation of assessed values. And the “no new revenue” rate is a very misleading name because it actually brings in a ton of new revenue to local government, especially in growing areas.

Never forget: a lower property tax RATE is still a property TAX INCREASE… if the rate is set higher than NNR, even if the rate is lower than last year's.

Join me in demanding local governments CUT PROPERTY TAXES by setting rates that are BELOW the No-New-Revenue rate.

Tell them that you know that any vote for a rate higher than the NNR is a vote to raise property taxes!

Never ending property taxes are immoral, unethical, and I will keep fighting to abolish them! But, in the meantime, the least we can demand of local officials is that they NOT raise property taxes.
