Imagine a coffee shop that charges too much for its coffee. People are happy to pay £3 for a coffee but this coffee shop charges £4.50.

Imagine telling the coffee shop manager that if they lower the cost of coffee they will actually collect more money.

They might say "but I'm losing money! I need to raise more money from my customers so I need to charge even more for my coffee!" and then you try to explain that if they raise the prices even more, they will go broke.

Now apply that logic to tax rates.

A habit i’ve stumbled upon that has done me good:

Do the work.
When performance dips from exhaustion. Take a break & listen to the stories of great people.
Soon I forget the exhaustion and get back to doing the work that will one day be in my great story.
