Choosing @ATT for my business was the worst decision. An 8 hour window (which they agreed to reduce to 4 hours) and they STILL cannot make it. They just rescheduled the install for 10 days from now.
I'm thinking about switching to Comcast, as much as it pains me.
Hospital consolidation, in the guise of building "Regional centers," has decimated health care options in my state (Indiana)
The entire state is now covered by one near-monopoly provider (the Methodist church operating as "Indiana University Health" (they bought to rights to call themselves "Indiana University" for $150,000 as I recall))
There is literally no ability to "shop around" irrespective of whether or not the monopoly published its monopoly prices
On a CTA bus right now. Very loud angry guy starts swearing profusely on the phone. The driver is the only one who can tell him to pipe down, and he does (but is now swearing quietly). Kudos to the driver.
If you can't get in serious trouble for carrying a gun as a kid, why not? And what's the point of carrying a gun if you can't also be a loud asshole on the bus and then shoot the first person who yells at you? Why not.

@StuLoren The problem (at least for retail) is the changing of rules that is allowing SpaceX to appear on QQQ (and other ETFs?) prior to typical lockup and stabilization periods end.
@JulieChangRE "Best dentists" is a very subjective term that is nearly impossible to compare between providers.
Our practices see many patients who go regularly and still need lots of work. And others who go once every 3-5 years and still have perfect teeth. /
Since violent drivers are recycling that old trope about how bicyclists need to stop at every stop sign, thought I'd recycle this old story about how drivers went apeshit when we did.
@realEstateTrent I understand and agree. I wonder if strip malls and large commercial lose appeals more than single store retail, or are otherwise taxed at a higher bracket relatively.
I want our politicians to want to keep taxes lower, but Cook is at the apex of the opposite approach right now.
