Colorado Governor @jaredpolis made the right decision by vetoing SB26-134.

The Defense Credit Union Council (DCUC) has consistently maintained that this legislation extended far beyond interchange fees. SB26-134 would have imposed complex state-specific mandates on the national payments system, creating significant operational challenges for credit unions, undermining fraud prevention efforts, increasing compliance burdens, and ultimately placing consumers and military families at greater risk.
