@jedibrent83 I was wondering how much of it they used. I saw online the end credits that mirrored the show, but I left after the second PC scene on my Saturday visit. No poster, but I did get the lenticular cup with the He-Man topper!
I can understand why people think it's going to tank at the box office, but MOTU is such a good movie! As someone who only tangentially knows the source material and went in because it's Nicholas Galitzine, it built the world up so well and handled the material PERFECTLY. (1/)
@x_pacaud I would love a sequel/franchise at the pace of this movie. Give She-Ra a franchise-loving introduction movie like this one. Build up the He-Man side. Have them meet up Avengers-style in the future. Film it all at once and release them annually (or, at a good pace), LotR style!
@ChainsawReacts Also, I wouldn't want a mentality of "we might only have 1 more" to come in & they just throw everything else about He-Man/She-Ra into a sequel. Sonic is doing it right by slowly rolling everyone out. Could you imagine if Sonic 2 just threw everyone else in (like Mario Galaxy)?
@ChainsawReacts I would love a sequel, but I agree with a comment I read that said She-Ra should be her own movie line and they should meet in a future He-Man sequel. Maybe film She-Ra while Nick is filming other things and bring them together in Masters 2 (or 3)?
@GlitchyBug_arts@Parzival_jay Is there some MotU continuity where that's not the case? I know that, over time, some retellings of lore change things around. Perhaps, in this one, they're not related? We may never find out, depending on how it does in theaters.
@_garrettcharles@colapeach A pay-your-own-way reception on top of having to give a gift could only be topped if they also have a pop-up merch table in the lobby!
Also, my theater didn't have the swag out yet. Minus points for that, but it redeems itself for hosting the advance screening in the ScreenX surround theater. I also didn't like how Supergirl's trailer featured the poor dog so much.
...between the two - but they tried to do some sort of pupil-tracking for his eye sparkles, and it's distracting at times. The action and humor, overall, is so well-executed that you get sucked into this world and can catch on quickly enough. (3/)
@thefionen I wound up having to buy the box off of eBay, but I got the donuts tonight after work! The KK I went to, the kid had no idea about the dozen special, and they didn't have the special box, but I drove that far and got the donuts anyhow.
@MuseZack There's also an episode of "Power Rangers in Space" that, while using the characters 'George' and 'Lenny,' puts the trope of 'big dumb guy' and 'small conniving guy' on its head...

@d3ciduey3 As soon as I hear that drum beat, I just pick a side and figure out who to send on a vacation. So far, it's worked with all of the fights that have been happening! (Also, did this update mess up having kids? I was sure two of my Miis were supposed to spawn, and they haven't yet.)
@sn0wh1mb0 Our company has an entire several-week course that I've been watching them plow through because I've had the downtime, and I'm watching the world it's presenting simply become AI generated content talking back and forth to other AI generated content. It's scary.
