Enjoy my family, my kids and the outdoors. I enjoy coaching and watching my kids play volleyball, softball or whatever. Owner of the Sweet Tater Estates!
They thought they burnt the OF in the gap for a double or even more but what they didn’t know is Paige Wood is built different. She not only runs it down over her shoulder but made it look easy. Kid has wheels and unbelievable abilities. 💪🏻👊
A fantastic visual from @luna_taboas 👏🏼
•Attacks the ball in an athletic position.
•Stutter steps right before fielding to get proper footwork and timing down.
•Presents glove early.
•Plays to the right of the ball.
•Stays loose & follows the throw.
Dance with it!
I don’t care what anybody says but the fact is the best hitters have very little hands and head movement. Facts! I slow mo so many young softball batters and see so much wasted movement pre-pitch. Baseball-softball have the same swing approach approach! #HLP
This Cabrera video has been posted by @Teacherman1986 for years but have never seen it with ball contact. Have only seen launch. He used it yesterday.
Still my vote for greatest instructional video ever on #HittingTwitter.

So @Teacherman1986 was on fire tonight. His organization and descriptions with demos were fantastic. Group walked out on cloud 9. And most will be very sore tomorrow for 2 sessions. #SheGone
Hitters….free advice coming. The most important part of ur body, while hitting, are your eyes! If u keep ur eyes as still as possible, ur chances of correct pitch recognition, go way up. How do we do that? Ur base!!! As solid as possible. If u limit lower body movement, eyes won’t move as much. Lotta lower body movement, more chance of eyes bouncing. Also, and this ties in with the eyes…..best piece of advice I ever got was from Willie Stargell….he said ‘fast feet promote slow hands, slow feet promote quick hands’. Slow feet in the stride, promote minimal eye movement and quick hands. Boom….let it eat!!!
