@YIMBYPoland As someone who grew up in suburbs (2000s, Canada) I spent a lot of time outside bc green space and friends were within a 1km radius.

I suspect medium density would improve the odds of a kid having such experience.

@fordnation Traffic exists bc of planning in the opposite direction like this. We need protected bike lanes, especially on primary routes.

Replace with what? Cars don't fit.

Also, bike lanes aren't on the provincial highways, they're municipal.
