From The Sheet (Jeff Marek & Dave Pagnotta) on the summer to come and Jason Robertson:
- Pagnotta: Expect random movement throughout the summer, July 15th boom trade, Jul 23rd boom trade, August 1st, oh look, two trades. Keep the WiFi active at the cottage, cuz there is going to be activity this summer, it will be random though.
- Marek: Could you see a Robertson for Gauthier trade? Dallas has talked with Anaheim since last summer about possibly getting Jason Robertson.
- Marek: Goals are expensive. Ask Jim Nill with Jason Robertson.
- Pagnotta: My mind keeps veering off into Pittsburgh's direction with Jason Robertson. Did you see Josh Yohe's article today? What would the deal be?
- Marek: You don't want to "Marner" this if you're Dallas.
- Pagnotta: Is it a combo of Rust and Kindel? I dunno. In that piece we hear Pittsburgh as being an attractive option for Jason Robertson himself.
- Marek: If you're the Stars I don't see a package that is attractive from Pittsburgh really. I go to Detroit and say "who do you want to take off the Pittsburgh roster?" and you turn those around to Detroit for Dylan Larkin in a 3-team trade.
- Pagnotta: Kyle Dubas is sitting here like "you're going figure this out with me now, or I'll wait 'til July of next year." (and get Robertson for free, a.k.a "Marner-ing" it)

Friedman on 32TP says before Matthew Tkachuk was dealt to Florida, Canes were the runner up team, their package was Necas, Nikishin, Flames had to take Jake Gardinerโs money and there was one or two 1st RDers involved.
The Canucks have promoted Henrik and Daniel Sedin to co-presidents of hockey operations, Sportsnet can confirm.
Vancouver has also named Ryan Johnson as their new general manager.
What McKenna would add to their franchise:
25.5% | Vancouver - a franchise piece & name to build around in the post Hughes era
13.5% | Chicago - the perfect set-up man for Connor Bedard who can work together the next 10+ years
11.5% | New York - whole lotta jersey sales and then a 2nd & a 4th round pick in return in 7 years
9.5% | Calgary - a superstar forward talent to put the rebuild in it's finishing stages
8.5% | Toronto - a first line pass-first winger this franchise has needed for a long time
7.5% | Seattle - first superstar name and likely the best player in franchise history
6.5% | Winnipeg - the ultimate quick re-tool piece to work alongside Connor & Scheifele. Don't need defense when you have the secretary of defense.
6.0% | Florida - ๐
5.0% | San Jose - probably about 3 stanley cups
3.5% | Nashville - Brady Martin's buddy and a clear future direction for the team post-Josi. Could even try to compete.
3.0% | St. Louis - a sick trade package after moving down to #2 to select Stenberg
Where's he landing?
